I'm using dark mode all over. However, since today (yesterday?), Kagi translate opens in light mode, blinds me, and then turns dark.

I have a dedicated browser window open throughout the day for Kagi Translate. It works great for a while. But after some time it doesn't translate anymore. I need to reload the page to fix it.

I wish I could upload .md .markdown files for translation/proofreading. For now, one must change their file format to txt before processing, and convert them back.

That happens to me too, if Kagi Translate stays open in a tab for a long time and you go back to it, it stops working and you have to reload the page for it to work again.

I'd love for OCR to be introduced, so that I can upload screenshots or photos of text and translate directly.

Starting a text with something like 20/40 will cause the text not being translated at all. I think it's due to URL detection. I also noticed problems with texts that include email addresses. Could the page translation feature maybe move behind a button or in a separate field?

Clicking on a link in a translated web page just loads the base translate.kagi.com page instead of translating the linked page

Rexios Whoops, will be fixed soon. Should be fixed, thanks!
JW We've enhanced our single-word translation capabilities, so rapport should now translate correctly. Please let us know if you encounter any other issues with this term or discover other translation inaccuracies. πŸ™‚

nichu42 I'm having the same problem. Kagi Translate usually opens in dark mode, but now it shows light mode. Is there any way to switch back to dark mode?

squirrel Is your Kagi Search theme set to light mode?
Mind that there is one theme setting for mobile and one desktop.

                    nichu42 Looking into this, sorry!

It's inconvenient that I can't specify the target language in the bookmarklet URL from 2025-02-25. I'd like to know how to specify the target language using the bookmarklet in the new version.
