RoxyRoxyRoxy Giorgio Lol I literally just shut off my PC so I’ll have to test that later, but I can reproduce it on Orion iOS so I’m guessing it’s not an issue with cookies.
nichu42 I'm using dark mode all over. However, since today (yesterday?), Kagi translate opens in light mode, blinds me, and then turns dark.
squirrel nichu42 I'm having the same problem. Kagi Translate usually opens in dark mode, but now it shows light mode. Is there any way to switch back to dark mode?
Giorgio squirrel Is your Kagi Search theme set to light mode? Mind that there is one theme setting for mobile and one desktop. nichu42 Looking into this, sorry!
Giorgio BattleHawk Hey, could you be clearer about what you mean please? Peter Fixed, thanks! nichu42 Hey, this should also be fixed. Could you confirm?
Peter I have a dedicated browser window open throughout the day for Kagi Translate. It works great for a while. But after some time it doesn't translate anymore. I need to reload the page to fix it.
MonoMatrix Peter That happens to me too, if Kagi Translate stays open in a tab for a long time and you go back to it, it stops working and you have to reload the page for it to work again.
Giorgio MonoMatrix Peter Could you share the console log after this happens? Edit: we have pushed an hotfix for this, if it still happens - please do share the logs. nichu42 We are looking at this This is fixed 🙂 goulot_situez Done!
goulot_situez I wish I could upload .md .markdown files for translation/proofreading. For now, one must change their file format to txt before processing, and convert them back.
dreifach I'd love for OCR to be introduced, so that I can upload screenshots or photos of text and translate directly.
nichu42 Starting a text with something like 20/40 will cause the text not being translated at all. I think it's due to URL detection. I also noticed problems with texts that include email addresses. Could the page translation feature maybe move behind a button or in a separate field?
Rexios Clicking on a link in a translated web page just loads the base translate.kagi.com page instead of translating the linked page
Giorgio Rexios Whoops, will be fixed soon. Should be fixed, thanks! JW We've enhanced our single-word translation capabilities, so rapport should now translate correctly. Please let us know if you encounter any other issues with this term or discover other translation inaccuracies. 🙂
BattleHawk It's inconvenient that I can't specify the target language in the bookmarklet URL from 2025-02-25. I'd like to know how to specify the target language using the bookmarklet in the new version.
