Show search result favicons by default

I've been wondering this for a long time, but default options have become more relevant with privacy pass:

Why are search icons are off by default?

Visual indicators remove mental load and allow humans to process information faster. I can scan the search results and easily group results without reading each URL.

Do you have usage statistics for this feature? Can we consider making this option on by default, like all other search engines?

I also agree displaying favions is standaed and generally useful. We'll adjust the default setting.

The remaining design question is whether to put the favicon next to the title or the URL. My preference is URL (as in the photo) only because it uses a smaller favicon and therefore takes up less space.

artemvmin Agree with URL, that's how I have it set and I find it much more pleasing than by the title.
