When I select a thread in Assistant, the conversation is shown scrolled to the top - that is, showing the first prompt I entered and the first response I got. Typically I actually want to see the latest prompt and response, be it an iterated script I've been working on, the convo has been updated with new info not in the first prompt, etc. Depending on the length of the thread it can be a little annoying to scroll down through it all.

Make / add a toggle that Assistant threads default to being "scrolled down" all the way to the bottom when selected.

    When I open the chat assistant, it displays the top messages, requiring me to manually scroll down.

    Add a button to scroll down or open recent messages when the page loads.

          In assistant, when i open existing thread i have to always scroll down to see latest chat. Instead there can be jump to buttom botton. Please consider.

          Time saving in long ai chat history. Every time no need to scroll from top to all the way down

            This used to be (maybe still is) a thing. I think this is actually a bug that it's not being displayed
