Thibaultmol The problem has been fixed and now it's fine. Thank you!
Kagi Translate Feedback
- Edited
When clicking a link on a translated page, Kagi Translate opens a Kagi Translate page inside the current translation page, crashing the website.
How to reproduce:
- Open this translation of the Game Hacking Academy website.
- Click on one of the tabs on the left side of the page. (ex. "Fundamentos de Computador")
- Wait a bit, and KT (Kagi Translate) will open a KT page inside the current KT page, crashing the website.
Screenshot of the crashed page:
Notice the nested page.
Opening a KT page inside KT creates a lot of CORS policy errors:
Expected behavior should be to just translate the linked page instead of opening KT inside KT.
Maybe this happens only on certain web frameworks that use SPA routing?
RoxyRoxyRoxy This is because it is a dynamically created page, and we do not support those currently
Vlad Oh ok! Didn't know those didn't work, apologies. Is there plans to support those in the future?

roadmap is dictated by user feedback
I've just bumped into an inconsistency between translation results in kagi.com vs translate.kagi.com. Perhaps this is due to my miscomprehending how this works, but here's a result from kagi.com:
Here's the same answer via translate.kagi.com:
I think 'evolutionsbiolog' would be the correct answer; I'm not sure but 'evolutionär biolog' looks completely wrong.
Esperaba que escribiera Alemán y Español
Cuando abres el cuadro de traducción e introduces el texto, debe aparecer el idioma que detecta y en la otra casilla debe aparecer el idioma elegido por ti y esto no ocurre. Aunque la traducción es buena, inclusive
con respecto a otros traductores.
I've noticed some issues with the translation cutting off before it's done when I paste a chat log.
It's a bit fuzzy to reproduce, and sometimes it does better or worse, but things which seem to throw it off are:
- starting with a newline
- inconsistent newlines
- timestamps
- mixed languages
I've noticed that if you press space and let it translate the empty space, the entire thing crashes. I don't know if this already got notified but that's an issue I found.
We have added romanization for ALL non-latin languages !

Kagi translate simply refuses to translate/dictate hate speech/swear words/etc...
Will not share prompts but I think you can come up with bunch of them.
Romanization is a great addition, thanks for adding it. Minor feedback:
I noticed though that romanization only shows up when translating from English to Chinese, but not when Chinese to English. Would it be possible to show romanization regardless of the direction of the translation? This would match what Google Translate does.
The main use case would be for language learning — I often want to learn both the romanization and the meaning of some Chinese text.
Chinese to English:
Chinese to English with Google Translate:
Small feedback on romanization: first I translated from English to Korean, the romanization appeared, then I switched the "to" language to Portuguese and the korean romanization was still there
Really a very good tool, thank you for that! You create so many useful things, it's great to watch you in the development.
Now to my suggestion:
It would be good if the standard output language in Translate could be saved. It is a bit cumbersome to have to select your own language again in the drop-down menu every time.
(Certainly interesting for later development steps) For students/language learners, a dictionary with spaced repetition mode (something like Anki) would be great, so that newly learned words can be saved directly and reviewed later. In combination with an AI model that allows conversation in foreign languages, language learning could definitely be taken to a new level.
A (browser) extension that allows you to send selected text directly to Kagi Translate or a popup that displays the translated text directly.
Posting this here in case this is the best place for it to be addressed.
