The widgets (such as listicles) can already be disabled in the settings. Problem is that it is not obvious to a casual user that the option exists, and if it's only a minor annoyance for them they might just put up with it without looking further into how to disable them. I was halfway through adding a filter for my adblocker before realizing I should check if there is simply a setting to disable the listicles widget.
It would be nice to have a button right there in the search results that either disables the widget immediately or links to the right part in the settings to turn it off (the option could also be behind a "dot-dot-dot menu" to make it look consistent with the rest of the search results page):
I think that is an intuitive place to look for an option to get rid of a widget, especially helpful for new users who are not yet aware of the extensive settings menu.
