On macOS with Firefox, I'm regularly (multiple times per day, if searching frequently over a few hours) redirected back to the login page when I execute a search through the browser bar. Worse, when I'm done logging in, the query I input is not preserved, so I have to type it again from the search page.
This only happens on my macbook; on a windows machine with Firefox I can search all day just fine. As far as I can tell, I have the same settings and extensions on both machines. (e.g. I've blocked third party cookies on both devices; I know messing with cookies could affect logins, but I seem to be messing with them the same way on both devices.)
I likewise have no problems with iOS/Safari.
Steps to reproduce:
I don't have any clear reproduction steps. Some non-negligible fraction of all search queries in the Firefox browser bar redirect me to the login page. It's presumably not the searches themselves that are causing this, just that my login has been invalidated in the time since my previous search.
I have no similar problems with logins on other sites.
Expected behavior
I know from the lack of reports from others that this is probably some terribly personal problem with my browser, but it would regardless be an enormous improvement if Kagi preserved queries through login redirects.
