    From Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Kagi is very slow, 2-3 second wait for search result.

      matusfaro It looks like you are using a VPN? No way Zurich is going to be the closest node?

          I am not sure what happened there, I may have forgotten my VPN on. Here is the result again:

                  New Zealand. I do find Kagi significantly slower than Google, though it's not painfully slow.

                    Nition Would you be able to post a side by side video of a query in Kagi and Google for you?

                        I couldn't think of an easy way to start both searches at exactly the same time, but you can see that although I start the Kagi search first, it doesn't show results until just after the Google search is done. Both are pretty fast though!

                        For the record I have a 300Mbps down/100Mbps up connection.

                                Fast enough here. But compared to Startpage, Google and DuckDuckGo still a bit slower.

                                  Nition This shows it took about 2.2 seconds to show results. That is a lot. We will look more into it.

                                      Kagi pages load quickly - but results take 3+ seconds to appear.

                                      It looks like perhaps the page doesn't lazy load results and some take longer than others to return.

                                      OS: macOS 12.3.1
                                      Hardware: Macbook Pro M1 Pro (2021)
                                      Internet: 1000Mbit down, 50Mbit up (and an ISP with good peering/routing)

                                            Vlad sure thing - I'll do that tomorrow when I'm on my laptop again, in the mean time here's a video of similar performance in Safari on my iPhone 12 Pro:
