I looked up an artist. Harry Haegnisen.
A relatively obscure artist, but the search knew all the information pertaining to him.
The search image preview showed the relevant photos and illustrations.
The actual image search had nothing related to what I asked for, it wasn't even remotely close. Also a ton of AI images. I don't even know how it could get this badly tripped up, without even showing the image preview results that were clearly right.

I've been looking for early 20th century and mid-century illustrators, who are often quite obscure. In many cases the results I'm getting for my other searches aren't even remotely related, which make me question why I'm even using Kagi half the time. At least with Google I can get breadcrumbs. In these instances, I'm genuinely getting pissed off.
I'm looking up "Harry Haegnisen". Kagi correctly gives me all the relevant information about the guy in the search. The preview for the image search even shows examples of his work. Great! I click on the image preview to see more... and none of the results are even close. There's no illustrations, no artwork. None of them even have the right name. Why did the image preview results have more relevance than the damn image search itself?! I got Kagi to help narrow down my research, not make it more difficult to find what I'm looking for.
I had less trouble using Google. The only reason I'm using Kagi is cause I don't want to be advertised to, but if I can't even find what I'm looking for what's the damn point?!
