The ranking adjustment selection in the result information dialog should allow specifying whether we want to apply the rank to the entire domain or just the subdomain corresponding to the current search result (e.g. example.com
vs. fr.example.com
).
I tried to boost results from Wikimedia sites (Wikipedias, Wikimedia Commons, Meta Wikimedia, etc.) but right now the Ranking Adjustment dialog only allows setting a preference for a specific subdomain associated with a result (e.g. de.wikipedia.org, en.wikipedia.org, commons.wikimedia.org, etc.). It's quite tedious to repeat this for every subdomain.
I know I can manually add a domain-level preference (this was given as a solution to a similar request), but to do that I have to go to Settings > Personalized Results and manually enter the domain; having the option to do that directly in the search results page (in the page information dialog) would be much more convenient.
