Allow promoting domains and their subdomains, like *.readthedocs.io

This feature would allow for sites like readthedocs.io to be promoted globally.
As of today, if I promote readthedocs.io, I will not see pynvim.readthedocs.io or scrapy.readthedocs.io promoted when I search for either of these subjects. And that's a bit annoying.

I don't know exactly how, in terms of UI, this could be implemented, but when they choose to raise/lower/block/whatever, let the user choose whether the rule needs to be applied to all subdomains as well or not.

I flagged this as a duplicate, but I believe now that having to go to https://kagi.com/settings?p=add_ranked (how do you get to that page without knowing this link, by the way??) is a bug. Why would there be a different behavior depending on where you are promoting this domain from?

Here's how I'd get there;

Go to https://kagi.com
Open the Hamburger menu (the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner)
Click on Settings
Click on Personalised Results which is within the Search section

If you open the shield menu for a specific URL in the SERP, it seems intuitive that customisations would apply only to that URL; but if you navigate to Settings, you can customise further, incl. enabling rankings for the top-level domain.
How could this be integrated into the shield menu in SERP? Would you add an additional setting there?

Just to be clear; I wasn't trying to offer an opinion on the core suggestion - just show how I'd navigate there.

The ranking adjustment selection in the result information dialog should allow specifying whether we want to apply the rank to the entire domain or just the subdomain corresponding to the current search result (e.g. example.com vs. fr.example.com).

I tried to boost results from Wikimedia sites (Wikipedias, Wikimedia Commons, Meta Wikimedia, etc.) but right now the Ranking Adjustment dialog only allows setting a preference for a specific subdomain associated with a result (e.g. de.wikipedia.org, en.wikipedia.org, commons.wikimedia.org, etc.). It's quite tedious to repeat this for every subdomain.
I know I can manually add a domain-level preference (this was given as a solution to a similar request), but to do that I have to go to Settings > Personalized Results and manually enter the domain; having the option to do that directly in the search results page (in the page information dialog) would be much more convenient.

after a discussion with z64, they showed me the info: feature (https://kagi.com/search?q=info%3Akagi.com) that's ok for me I guess, but that is still a few clicks and typing to get to what I want to do.

if you want my two cents, regarding how UI could allow this, you could do something like what ublock element picker mode does with some kind of slider that allows for selection:

I agree with @ak42's suggestion and indeed I had precisely uBlock's element picker in mind (specifically, its selection specificity sliders) when I made my suggestion. I do think that it's a poor UX to have to navigate to the Settings to make the ranking adjustment at the level intended for what one might consider to be a single site or resource (think e.g. about different language versions of the same site that are served via different subdomains).
