Let me start this explanation with some context for one particular, but I think important, scenario. Fandom is notorious for having very good SEO and not letting sites be deleted. What this means is that when communities get tired of Fandom's horrible practices and laggy ad-ridden website and want to move to wiki.gg, it will almost always be lower than their old and now out of date Fandom wiki.
While this is something that could be interesting for Kagi to look at holistically from a search perspective, I think there is merit to looking at a solution within the current toolkit for members to use: Personalized Results.
Fandom, wiki.gg, stackexchange, Medium, and I'm sure many more operate on a sub-domain system.
'topic.wiki.gg'
Currently, if you want to punish or promote these, you would have to do so for each instance you care about. (Promote deeprockgalactic.wiki.gg, promote helldivers.wiki.gg, etc)
However, if wildcard sub-domains were supported, you could solve the Fandom problem with a single personalized result: Pin '*.wiki.gg.
This may not be groundbreaking, but I'm hoping that its simple enough and useful enough to be considered.
Simply allow wildcard subdomains to be added here: https://kagi.com/settings?p=add_ranked
Can include wildcarding in the instructions at the top of said page.
