When searching for "dog no dog reddit", the second result is bestiality

I expected to not have animal porn suggested to me

fxgn Do you have safe search off?

Settings -> Search -> General -> Safe search

I don't know what the default setting is, but I would expect it to be on for new accounts

Boomkop3 I don't agree. Imagine someone who start using Kagi for these kind of results. Search results shoudn't be censored by default because you're Google then.
Safe search should remain an option or you can easily block a whole domain name from the results without even having to access it.

macadoum Google has safe search on by default, up until you search a keyword like porn. It's not censorship, it's just a preference some people have. You can still configure it

Boomkop3 I feel like most people paying for a search engine that is known for being extremely user focused would not expect censorship filters to be enabled by default, but rather leave it up to the user to make that choice themselves

Vlad yes, I do. The issue is not that there are porn results in general, it's about this query which is not related to it

@fxgn I couldn't reproduce that result. Are you still seeing it? If yes, to what region are you connected to?
