For those of us who use Kagi Translate without the auto translate being on (so you have to manually press the translate button):
I think the others who use Kagi Translate in this mode would agree that if you change target language, it should trigger a translate.
I can't imagine many scenarios where if i'm not on auto-translate that I wouldn't want it to do a translation when I select a target language.
So for example
- Load kagi translate
- type in or paste text
- change target language to your desired language.
- Then i still have to press the translate button.
The only scenario I can imagine if i you change target language before you start typing or pasting... but then usually your source text field is empty anway, so should matter much i think
