Hello. I'd like to be able to define synonyms for some worlds. For example, I'd like to see the same result for k8s and kubernetes (combine search results mb?)

It's a huge feature and it may require additional discussion in the community.

Thanks!

So like query expansion? Would love to hear what others think about this...

      +1

My team is using Amazon Elastic Beanstalk (I know..) and I wish "eb" get expanded to that. Without that I get irrelevant results. Perhaps the UI should behave similarly to query autocorrecting and show "Showing result for "Elastic Beanstalk ..." from your synonym preferences, search instead for "eb ..." instead"

An additional idea is perhaps the synonym could have been set to have smaller boost (or behave as if their sites ranking are lowered). This could help when you search "EKS" and you want "Kube" "K8S" "Kubernetes" or "OpenShift" result as well since it might also be applicable, but a direct "EKS" result would be much better.

Thanks for clarification. Here is an idea

      • Create a lens that has Elastic Beanstalk keyword
      • Assign it a bang eg !eb

This way !eb [query] will get what you need (same as query expansion)

      No one is typing
