c2qd This will be fixed in the next extension release, thank you 🙂
mcatt Hey, you're right - English to English isn't a useful default. After your first translation, the target language is saved for future visits. You can also set it manually in settings. Based on your feedback, we've improved the first-visit experience so the target language now defaults to your browser's locale. Thanks 🙂
twizzlebizzle Hey, we've pushed a fix for this. Let me know if you're still having issues.
kagifeedback Pinning languages is already possible - from the language select dropdown. Was it not easy to find?
Gredharm Hey! We know page translation (from the extension) is currently too slow. We do process a simplified version of HTML markup to keep the page functional and allow things to be moved around if needed, and this does lead to increased times. Chunking is something we already do and from our testing having even smaller chunks results in a quality hit that we do not want to accept. The only solution is increasing the translation speed itself, which is something we're actively working on - hope to have news on this front in the near future.
