BTW, why doesn't the Kagi Translate iOS app offer translation improvement suggestions, unlike the PWA version?

Without it, I think a major advantage of using an LLM for a translation app is lost.

I'm referring to the suggested translation for the section highlighted in this red box.

That feature is not available in the iOS version of the app.

How can I get the Listen to Text function to work? I specifically subscribed to use this function ...
It only shows the jumping dots after clicking and then reverts to the speaker icon.
I tried using it in Safari and Zen on macOS and with Korean, German and English text.

Also, a Korean Virtual Keyboard seems to be missing.

Like:

Does it use third party cloud LLM's or local (on Kagi servers) ones?
How were these LLM's created? I mean in an ethical (no IP used) sense.
What are the real cost per translation (energy) compared to traditional local translation (eg. what Apple does).

the worst thing you could do is take away the translator for free use... who will use it now when there are better translations in google gemini???

You have done the worst thing by limiting the amount of text that can be translated for free users. You did a very good job of making me not use Google Gemini or ChatGPT for translation, but since you have set this kind of limitation, I guess I have to say goodbye.
