One of the most common use cases for search engines is looking up sports standings or statistics on a whim. Accuracy and clarity from the AI assistant needs to greatly improve. Two examples of the problems it faces.
First, take the Carolina Panthers. If you were to just search up "panthers game," the search results would reference Carolina, but the AI assistant on the side would reference the Florida Panthers. Easy mixup but one that realistically shouldn't happen, the AI function should be a synthesis of relevant information brought up by search.
Then, if you zoom out to the NFC South as a whole, the AI assistant would fail to accurately and properly tabulate the standings, listing the last place team as first place, and first place team as second, and so on. I have no idea how this happens.
If you wished to see recent games from any team, it will accurately tell you the most recent game and its score, but then rather going in descending order of recency, or talk about the upcoming schedule, it doubles back several games (but not necessarily even to the beginning of the season, or sometimes including preseason!) and presents a scrollable list that's presented out of order with regards to the first result.

These are all just examples of inaccuracy when it comes to information that comes about with regards to sports. I'm sure there are other fields impacted by this, but this is one that many casual users of any search engine or AI assistant would find to be a pain point. It should be presenting information in a readable, sensible way.
