Ability to see my member number

Vlad hah. yeah. fair. I can see how it could create more headache than it's worth. In my head I just remember the Kagi stats page was around 14k when I joined so that's the number I think of when I think of my own "member number."

I think “the number of accounts who made their first payment before you” is the most intuitive.

"the number of accounts with an active subscription who made their first payment before you" is closer to what people would expect to see.

Slight issue there, if you cancel but have some days to cancellation, technically you do not have an active subscription, but should be considered a member.

I don’t think it should matter whether the other accounts are currently active. They’re still part of Kagi’s history.

In other words, one should be able to say something like “I was the 16384th person to ever pay for a search engine”.

It does create a bit of confusion regarding our 20k tshirts giveaway, as you can have higher number and still get it.

But I do like the wording of "I was the 16384th person to ever pay for a search engine."

Where can I find the number? I see there is a change in the early adopter badge, but it only shows the month, which is visible in the accounts settings as well.

stoyle Number was tricky to show. Ie what happens with your number if you cancel sub? Do you lose the number (as you are not a techinically a member anymore..) so we just opted to show date.
