When searching "iq capital" earlier today, the Wolfram Alpha/Kagi Knowledge widget was triggered to display the capital city of Iraq (as below).
This is the first time I've experience this behaviour, so I decided to test it. First, other countries' initials.
de capital (Germany) — not triggered
us capital (United States) — not triggered
uk capital (United Kingdom) — not triggered
fr capital (France) — triggered
So that behaviour is inconsistent. What confuses me further is that when spelling out countries' names in full, the widget is not triggered.
iraq capital
germany capital
france capital
So this thread is part-bug report, in terms of inconsistent triggering, and part-question — what behaviour is meant to happen? Triggering by initials only? If so, what initials? Triggering by country names too?
This is all caveated with the fact that my testing and the applicability here is limited to the English language.
