Blocked TLD shown in Blast from the Past

I recently blocked the .ru TLD, as per this thread: #7104 Not possible to block TLD in personalised results. This is set up as recommended, with only "ru" entered in the blocklist.

When I tested this by searching "russia" (search link here), four results were blocked.

Yet a domain ending with .ru was still shown in the Blast from the Past widget.

Are Blast from the Past results supposed to be filtered by personalised search settings too?

Blast from the past results are on the web archive, and so are impacted by the ranking for archive.org instead of whatever site they point towards.

nobodywasishere So there's no way to filter them? If not, is there a statement in Kagi's documentation that explains this?

We could add support for applying domain ranking / filtering to websites pointed to by web.archive.org links, but there's no way to currently without filtering out all web.archive.org sites.
