Luis Sorry for slow reply here, got tired of the last discussion and didn't find my way to here until now. I like my paid search to not require me to be in the feedback section daily. When you get it right, hopefully, I'll never be here <g>
TL;DR; I DO NOT like what we have " the option to continue in Kagi Assistant directly from the Quick Answer, without an extra click."
I like a one click continue with discussion in assistant which is what we previously had. 99% of search is not a continued discussion with an AI. What I have now is a complete waste of time and screen real estate. I don't need help with my queries. I don't need a box to start this discussion. 95% of the time I do not want to continue with assistant but when I do,, one click to start it is great. I'll add I never use Kagi on a phone. NEVER. Ipad a little. I use Kagi as search on a real machine.
The q shortcut now works in my browser and is sticky which helps GREATLY. No clue what changed but I'm happy it now works.
Clicking q to get more still gives me suggested prompts which is targeted to my grandma which is NOT what Kagi should be creating. This is google creeping features shit. We are using Kagi cause we don't want google creep. This is the magic of Kagi and every time I see you "googling" the interface (and I don't mean search, I mean dumbing it down feature creep) I add another line to my growing list of "why kagi now sucks".
So now i click on "show more" or q kind of like what the continue in assistant used to be. When I do it exposes the ability to continue, unfortunately it hides the refs section too. Refs is (was ?) useful before adding all the crap highlighting links ...blah blah blah.....more grandma features I don't want messing up my view.
The whole idea, hidden behind a click or not, of the prompt help as basic info is flawed and not useful to the tech savvy user.
Maybe it is time to split this sucker ? 1 is the advanced tech savvy user interface which is HIGHLY configurable so I get to customize my results and 2 is the grandma interface which is like google creeping crap where you can put everything but the kitchen sink in the interface to entice the not tech savvy crowd. I realize the money is there but if you think she is going to pay you for search and replace google, you are confused.
