Navigating from Kagi Maps to the rest of Kagi is way too hard

This is purely a UX bug, but it's frustrated me a number of times.

Start from Kagi Search, to find a location. (In the case at hand, it was "Clark University".)
Kagi offers a link to Kagi Maps in the search results.
Click on that, and the page changes to Kagi Maps.
Navigate around as desired.
Try to go back to search to look for something else -- there's no good way to do so.

This is a particular problem if you have the Kagi tab pinned (which I always do): for reasons I can't figure out, if I try to change the URL to simply https://kagi.com/, it opens a new tab instead of navigating back to the homepage.

It's not the end of the world -- pressing the Back button repeatedly eventually gets me back to where I want to be -- but I keep expecting and missing the usual Kagi app-switcher button that I'm used to in the upper-right of Search and Assistant. This inconsistency in the overall "Kagi Suite" experience is always a bit frustrating.

What I'd love to have is simply the same app-switcher button in the upper-right that we see in Search and Assistant, so the experience is familiar and predictable.

yeah honestly fair point.
I guess def if you arrive in Maps from Search, it'd make sense to show a special 'Back' button in the top left or right that takes you back to Search

Generally for the mobile device, it would be good to have a way to immediately open to Translate, Assistant, Search, Maps, all separately. Could be via widget, or separate apps.

But yeah I have the same problem, you go to the map and if you click around a few times, you have to go back, back, back, back, back, there's no easy link like with the other apps.

Hopefully the UI redesign Yannick mentioned resolves that.

Gredharm There is already a widget if you install the Kagi Search app btw (revamp of the Kagi Search app is underway as well, soon).
But individual apps for the various products are planned
