Adding my voice to the choir here that this is the exact sort of “feature” I am trying to leave Google because of. I think you all are misunderstanding your target market.
Kagi had fantastic results but I can’t see myself paying for a service that doesn’t respect users’ wishes to turn generative AI completely off.
