Translate renders the word "IBAN" using four different fonts

Steps to reproduce:

Open Kagi Translate
Type "IBAN?" as the text to translate

Actual: 4 different typefaces are used, resulting in the different sizes and styles of characters

I see this problem both on Chrome and Firefox, both on Windows and Linux.

Expected: a single typeface is used to render these 5 characters, they have consistent style

I’ve just reproduced this on a third computer with Ubuntu and Firefox and Chrome. Two of these computers have German as the preferred language.

I understand that not being able to reproduce it on your side pretty much blocks you from fixing it. I’m a web developer, maybe I could assist you in debugging it if you tell me in what direction to dig?

arty Ok now that's weird. I daily drive our Orion browser and this doesn't occur there, but it does on Firefox. @Giorgio any idea what's going on 😅

It looks like your font files are broken. For example, here’s your Inter font: https://cdn.fonts.coollabs.io/inter/normal/400.woff2. Download the file and drop it in https://fontsee.com/. Look at the glyphs: only the first letter, A, is sans-serif, the rest are serif.

I guess I should mention for @Giorgio that the problem is not just about the word IBAN, it’s the general mess of the different font faces. Frankly, I am quite ticked off by the special Myanmar punctuation design.

I chose to report IBAN because it’s just such a perfect example of every letter getting a different style.
