Set language per category

I would like to be able to set the language not only for all my categories, but to be able to choose a separate language for each category. For example, I would like to read news from Germany in German, but news from Brazil, for example in English or Brazilian Portuguese.

Currently, I have set the news globally in English, which, however, leads to sometimes strange translations of German news or also influences the Brazilian news (which are written in Brazilian Portuguese).

I can’t speak or read Portuguese. So I would like to get the news from Brazil in English but don’t want to set the content language to English as I would like to read German news in German.

As a multilingual (2 languages decently at minimum xd) this would indeed be nice

We added a setting, only on web for now, to set the languages you speak. This way, categories that are generated in any of those languages, will be shown to you without translation, while everything else will be translated in your main language.

Does this system work for you?

Giorgio I will try to test it. Just using your mobile app would be handy to have the option there aswell

I tested it and like the new options. Works fine for me. Is it possible to add an option that I want a translation to another language and not main „main language“

My setup is:
Main language is German
Language is speak is German (per default) and English.

The translation works fine but I would like to see news from Brazil not translated to German and instead to English (as the translation sounds more handy and I can aggregate the news better for and speak with my partner in our chosen language (English) - She is Brazilian and I am German. For fairness, we only speak English to each other. Maybe an edge-case would I would appreciate it.

Giorgio afted you implemented it in the webversion do you have plans to implement it in the iOS App aswell maybe (even) considering my last request?
