Steps to reproduce:
Enable the "Programming" lens in one tab. Then open a new tab and perform a search. Now the lens is still selected but is no longer enabled.
Expected behavior:
I expect the lens to still be enabled. Otherwise I have to re-enable it every single time I do a search. This frustrates me and /significantly/ impacts my programming flow. I enjoy the lenses and find that the lens really helps me get rid of nonsense (especially when "Rust" is a common English word).

Firefox 98.0.2
Not sure if this is expected behavior but it feels like a bug that is masquerading as a "feature." I only reach for the lenses when I know I am going to be diving deep into a topic for a long time. I also couldn't find this as being a reported problem, so please close the issue if it is already reported.
