It seems like it's using the US formatting which.. looks really weird if you're from Belgium or really any other country that uses a different system than that.
I would have expected that phone number to look like
+32 51 68 75 39
or 051 68 75 39
There is ITU-T E.123 which standardizes the formatting. and in my case would result +32 51 68 80 44
