I think this request is best explained using search query examples:
“10 am PST to Amsterdam”
Or
“10 am San Francisco to Amsterdam”
Or
“10 am PST to my time”
Or
“10 am PST”
(When in Amsterdam) these should all give the same result as:
“10 am PST to CEST”
If possible the location based conversion should work with all places, but at least with capital cities, major cities, regions/provinces and countries. And, if possible with the current privacy settings of Kagi, time conversion should work with smart recognition of the users local time zone.
I think a search query like this is very common in countries with a single time zone, like most European countries. Google, for exmaple, does actually work with a search like the examples above.
In addition to this, if a feature like this were to be added, a widget for the current time zone would also be useful. When searching for: “what’s my time zone?”, for example.
