To me it is. There is no reason why I would use Kagi if it wasn't the best search engine or information engine. If a better option appears, I will switch, no matter how much I like Kagi. I think the price is an incredible bargain for getting the best solution for such an important task. It saves me so much money and time.
If any of those services offer better results than Kagi for a better price, then there's no reason to use Kagi.
Kagi has a great advantage over all other Google alternatives, in that it offers good search results in other languages than English. That's billions of people as potential customers.
