This relates to a previous feature request I submitted, which is currently planned: Add error message for when character/token counts exceed Assistant limits. I think it would be useful to have an in-chat indicator for the number of tokens sent in each submitted query, and for the total chat as a whole (a cumulative indicator). This would then show an error when the total token count would be exceeded by another query.
This would prevent users from submitting queries that exceed the Assistant's context window, and it would also just be a fun little indicator to track usage (sort of like the existing whole-Assistant indicator in the Kagi Billing pane — just more granular).
