RoxyRoxyRoxy Yeah, same.
Luis Personally, I see this use case as more a reason to suggest that Kagi rely less on copying & pasting thread titles often submitted by the community that aren’t always super precise or specific.
I don’t think it’s necessarily pragmatic of @stone to just Ctrl F a changelog for their own username - as that seeks to make Kagi responsible for tracking all instances & permutations of a given suggestion being provided by the community, and at that point I have to invoke a slippery slope argument - if we’re expecting that for forum posts, does it also mean we expect it for messages on Discord? Posts on Twitter & Bluesky? …emails??
But I’ve definitely read entries in the changelog in the past, thought to myself “what on earth does that refer to?”, and had to follow the link not out of an interest in the topic but just a genuine lack of understanding. So I can definitely understand and empathise with @stone if they have been specifically looking for a change in the changelog, the change has been made and documented there, but he or she just never knew from reading the changelog.
Speaking as a former Community Manager, the changelog is a prominent & significant form of communication from the company - it may be time to revisit the discussion on whether the priority should be to clearly communicate changes (which I would favour) or demonstrating that Kagi is acting on feedback (which, to be fair, is also important - but not necessarily an argument in favour of the frankly unhelpful copy & pastes we sometimes see).
