I've just confirmed I'm no longer receiving the prompts in Orion 1.3.18. Thank you for addressing this and for making Kagi/Orion. This issue was very frustrating to me because Kagi is one of the most important pieces of software I use, and to see it knee-capped by another piece of software made by the same company is... frustrating.

I use Kagi Translate on Brave with the Kagi Privacy Pass extension. I visited translate.kagi.com to translate and got an Error 500. Disabling the Kagi Privacy Pass extension allowed Kagi Translate to work, but re-enabling it caused errors preventing me from translating.

I am using the Detect Language option on Kagi Translate which is the default option however when I set it to its language this still happens.

I made a post regarding this however I’m pretty sure it’s not the appropriate place to put the bug report.

I cannot see Kagi Translate being broken when using the Kagi Privacy Pass mentioned at all on the thread RoxyRoxyRoxy flagged as a duplicate to the Moderators.

Would it be possible to add manual refresh mode for Privacy pass? Because if the automatic token refresh/generatoin is triggered while your searching using VPN, it kinda breaks the anonymity (at least currently, bc there low change of two Kagi users using same VPN connection)

Hi miicat_47, just to make sure I understand, is your concern the normal process of token generation being hit at some point when your token count is low, and this to happen while using a VPN? I just want to make sure this is not a specific behaviour where you noticed token generation being triggered when you turn on your VPN

The inability to use the shield feature in Kagi search results while Kagi Privacy Pass is active is an inconvenience.

hello. i cannot seem to get search results with privacy pass. it always goes to a blank search results page. only way for me to use kagi now is to disable the extension or switch over to private browsing.

smeebo solved my issue by disabling container tabs in firefox.

The addon is great! It's great because you can finally search with anonymized tokens.

Would it be possible to set your preferences via the addon (language, family filter and more) because you can't use your settings via your account?

This would make using the privacy pass even more attractive.
