Universal Summarizer: Consistently never completes (via web or API) for a specific video

Upon trying to run the Universal Summarizer across this video, it appears to run indefinitely without completing.

I've been able to replicate this consistently with both the API and web versions of the Universal Summariser (using the "summary" summary_type) and at least for the Key Moments type on the web.

Ideally, there would be a hard timeout or some sort of user feedback for these sorts of cases.

@Rehan Given you marked it as Next release, I'd be curious to know what the underlying issue was?

sentry Simply retrying too much. The video actually didn't process forever, but just went on for a long time (about 3 mins). We just had in place too many retries before giving up.

Hmm, this was marked as done but running that same video through the Universal Summarizer now just runs for a while before returning "Sorry, no transcript could be found for that video".

This is true for both summarization types it seems.

sentry Yea unfortunately, YouTube doesn't have transcripts/closed captioning for the video, so there isn't anything for us to extract.

Rehan Ah! I actually read this message not as an informational message to the user but as an error like the attempt at finding a transcript itself had failed rather than there is actually no transcript.
