"Higher" ranking is too high

Steps to reproduce:

Have a "Higher" ranking adjustment for github.com
Search for export default javascript

Expected behavior:
The search should return the best result for export default javascript, which in this case might be "export - JavaScript | MDN" (from developer.mozilla.org) or "node.js - What is "export default" in JavaScript? - Stack Overflow" (from stackoverflow.com).

Instead it returns 10 Github results above this, none of which are particularly relevant to the search query. It looks like the "Higher" adjustment has too much weight.

Debug info:
Mac Safari, United Kingdom region, Europe West.

When not higher, github shows in third place. marking it higher bumped it from #3 to #1 which sounds reasonable for most uses (I understand it wasnt optimal in this case, but that is how algo worked)

On reflection I think it's probably the quantity of github results - bumping 3->1 is good, but since there are 10 Github results, they tend to bury the others. Maybe just show one or two in full, then others in summary form?

systemed When we have a lot of results, we tend to unroll them like that. It usually helps with user experience.

if there are too many URLs of the same type, please do 'wrap' them inside a sub-section so that it doesn't clog up the entire thing.

2-3 results on top on a boosted URL is fine, but not the horrendous page that OP has linked.

Yes I have the same issue. I get results from 6 year old reddit posts, which are less tgan helpful since that particular software changed in those years.
