The 3 month free trial of Kagi search is not valid for people who were previously gifted Kagi Search via the Gift Kagi subscription functionality.
Is this expected behaviour? I don't see why as a business you would limit an already existing account that was gifted a subscription use of a 3 month free trial promotion.
I could however understand not allowing the 3 month free trial to be renewed on an account that paid for its own subscription previously.
Would it not be better to allow someone who had a subscription via a gift to extend their use via this promotion as they have already shown interest in using the service by accepting the gift?

Accounts which had a previously active subscription that was funded through a gift bought by another active Kagi user can renew free trial promotions.
