I am attempting to sign up with Kagi but when I go to https://kagi.com/signup and enter my desired initial password and my email address, I consistently receive a 403 error on the subsequent https://kagi.com/sign_up page.
The X-Kagi-Trace header of one of these failed sign up attempts was: fbd465166d8e323ffd49910fd5bf8f48
This occurs in both firefox (with no extensions) and chrome (minimal extensions and adblocking extensions turned off) on Fedora 40.
I tried signing in via oauth with a Google account just to see if signups overall were not working and that does work. However, I would prefer to use my email address and a password to log in to my account as my goal in using Kagi is to get away from using Google (or Apple or Microsoft) services.
Sign up should function outside of using oauth.
