Maybe go work at a nuclear power company. Energy consumption per capita has stagnated in the developed world and it has primarily resulted in a transfer of wealth to medium-developed countries like China.
The solution to our problems with the consequences, whatever they may actually be, of power generation is not to avoid consuming energy, it's to produce it better.
There is no other way to make this quality of general purpose automatic translation than LLMs and similar technology; training and employing tens of millions of domain-trained translators is a lot less ‘carbon efficient’ than machine translation.
