When I enable the Verbatim option during a search, I've noticed that the setting is persisted on your account until it is manually turned off again. This was unexpected and I'm surprised that it's the default behavior. There should be an option to not persist the Verbatim option across sessions. I would want it to stay on for future searches in that same session though in case I revise my search terms for that search.
The reason the way it works now is annoying is if I forget to turn it off, sometimes I end up with a later search showing few or no results unexpectedly due to it remaining on. Generally, I want it to only be enabled for that session and not be used for future searches because I use it on a case-by-case basis. My current workaround is to set my browser search engine to "https://kagi.com/search?q=%s&verbatim=0" so that it resets when I do a new search, but this has to be done on every browser and doesn't work if I start a search from Kagi.com.
