Specifically, I am interested in the ability apply a simple, flat hierarchy of semantic category labels, so it becomes easier to see threads that are related.
Added benefit: It would make better use of the left hand bar, which currently (when not collapsed) is nearly empty, except for the two standard categories.
But the deeper hierarchy described in the original feature suggestion would obviously also work for me.
