It would be neat to have a desktop and mobile version for certain settings.
I'm specifically thinking about the "Open Links in a New Tab" one. I find it very useful on desktop but rather inconvenient on mobile.

Kai Makes sense. What else? Custom CSS comes to mind.

Could be useful yeah, though you probably can do a lot with media selectors already in that regard.

personally, i think having an option to override the theme, and for it not to use the system default would be really nice, as i use light themes on desktop, and dark themes on mobile, and the flash that appears before switching to the correct theme really infuriates me. other than that, i, personally, do not see any other options which i would like to differ

@NS2555 We implemented some changes for that in our previous update; it shouldn't be occurring. Is this still occuring for you? If so, please open a new ticket with browser details / repro steps.

Update: apparently the issue was with bromite, and the white screen flicker was caused by it. there were no such issues on any other mobile browsers (even chrome, ironically).

Update to the update: Apparently the issue appears the first time you open it in chrome, you have to restart it to be able to see the flicker. As i wasn't able to reproduce it in any other browser, i will assume it's a chromium issue and not open any issues.

              This would be neat.

Related to this I'd like to be able to have video/image previews on Kagi on desktop browsers, but have them disabled in iOS Safari.

sm This item was completed, a handful of settings are preserved on mobile & desktop views independently, like theme. We did not separate every single setting, as to not make the UI overbearing or hard to maintain between the two.

Could you open a suggestion for this? I think people would like such a setting for lower bandwidth / data plans. You can note in the post that it should be device independent.
