Clicking on "Kagi Assistant" logo opens Kagi homepage

it opens the https://kagi.com homepage.

I would expect this to open https://kagi.com/assistant

To "exit" the current thread, as there is no close button or similar.
This is not a huge thing, since Ctrl+K does the same. But it feels wrong to get redirected to main kagi when the logo itself says "assistant".

I agree. The “Kagi Assistant” logo redirecting to the Kagi search page makes little sense to me. You’ve already got a Kagi Search redirect button on the top right of the desktop page. And then a Kagi Search redirect button in the middle of the navbar on mobile.

The suggestion of clicking the “Kagi Assistant” logo to create a new thread(and minimize the sidebar at the same time) makes more sense.

I only see this make sense when you're on mobile, to switch back to regular kagi instead of the assistant.. but i agree it feels really weird

When the sidebar is collapsed, it is also very easy to accidentally go to the kagi search page instead of opening the side bar.

The Kagi logo in The Assistant is confusing to me.

I understand the "plus" button making a new thread and that is what I would expect.

However, I would also expect to be able to click the logo to create a new thread (but that takes me to kagi.com not kagi.com/assistant).

I'm not sure how I would change this overall design, but it often confuses me.

Semi related but I'd definitely like the sidebar open button to be bigger, not sure why but it seems uncomfortably small even with the redesign.

I see this has been fixed on desktop by removing the "Assistant" text.

On mobile however it's still there
