When using FastGPT in the past, it would automatically provide numbered in-text citations with the works cited at the bottom of the page. Today, this feature was removed.
With the new update, I have to type "cite sources" at the end of my query in order to get the in-text citations with the sources at the bottom. I love Kagi's products and I think that FastGPT really benefits from automatically providing citations.
The above example returns two unreliable sources: classace.io (AI) and coursehero.com
FastGPT should cite sources automatically with numbered in-text citations and sources at the bottom of the page.
This allows me to verify the validity of the information myself. Given that AI is currently training on other AI, it seems important to be providing citations.
