Kagi Assistant app.

I use AI primarily on my phone, I'd love to have an iOS app to make Ultimate really worth subscribing too. I currently bounce between Claude, ChatGPT, Hugging Chat, and Perplexity - all which have mobile apps in addition to their web apps.

I think this section goes without explaining - most mobile users prefer apps over the web experience.

I would like to second this. Kagi Assistant is cool but on my phone it’s a bit clunky to open the browser.

Luis That's great to hear! But just to clarify mobile web usability is nice - but I FAR prefer an actual native mobile application, which is what my request is for. Unless I misunderstood your post and you did mean a mobile app - which would be awesome news.

Dhiaeddine I renamed that thread to make it explicit the user is referring to a desktop app. We can keep this thread to discuss a fully native mobile app.

Would really like an iOS app for the Assistant specifically. I view search and the assistant as different enough products to have them be in different app interfaces. Search can remain on user's browser of choice.

Loading up The Assistant in Safari and making and icon on the Home Screen with the “Add to Home Screen” option looks to have been fairly well optimised by the Kagi team. Until an app comes along, this should suffice.
