I understand your point. I am trying to solve for clean UI.
Having (i) clutters the UI, specially since its utility rapidly drops after user has clicked it once or twice. Then it just annoys.
We can always improve FAQ, but the sad truth is that FAQs are rarely read.
So we try to make the interface as intuitive as possible without the need for extra documentation.
Also known as the "principle of irreducible complexity for UX"
So what gives?
