Setting up Kagi on an older MacBook with Catalina and Safari 15.6.1, nothing happens when clicking any select dropdown within the Kagi settings interface. The elements will not mark, select, nor open. Other elements such as toggles work.

I would like for this to work, so I can change the interface language. Maybe you're using some javascript hack instead of proper HTML elements? This also means that we cannot use tab to go between elements. Select elements within the main Kagi search interface works.

Can you please share a screenshot where it works?

Sure, below is a screenshot where the select element for selecting the Temperature Unit successfully opened, on a newer version of Mac OS.

So on the settings page none of the dropdowns work with Catalina and Safari 15.6.1, is that correct?

carl Select elements within the main Kagi search interface works.

We have two versions of dropdowns there, so we need a screenshot to check which one is this.

        So new version is fine?

Exactly. Dropdowns are called "select" elements when it's HTML: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/select

Sure, I will make one in a couple of weeks when I get back.

          Yep.

@carl can you please check if it still not working? i pushed some fixes for dropdowns but cant test on Catalina.

Confirmed that it's working correctly on Catalina now. Thank you for fixing this! I'm sure it will be helpful for other users on different older systems, not only old Safari.
