How to disable Quick Peek and Quick Answers and all AI related features?

I can't see how to turn off the "Quick Peek" and "Quick Answers" features. I have AI turned off but I still see these. The "Quick Peek" blocks valid answers never shows anything useful. For "Quick Answers", I've disabled it in setting but it still shows there. Ideally, we should be able to disable all LLM related feature / integrations. The search result quality is starting to really go down.

smacintyre Hi, to disable Quick Peeks, go to Settings > Search > Search Widgets. Note that Quick Peek does not use GenAI.

As for Quick Answers, the setting disables them from automatically triggering when using a "?" at the end of the search query. Instead, they must be manually triggered using that button. Have you noticed any impact on your search experience due to this button? If yes, how so?

Thank you. Didn't realize these were widgets, disabled them.

As for search, I've noticed the quality of search results have been going down a lot. I'd say search results are now about the same quality as Google's when I compare. Which is sad as last year the search results where much better than Google's.

I would like to disable Quick Answers completely. And all LLM related integrations.

We have an ongoing thread about this topic and have recently added a new section in the settings to simplify the process of disabling any LLM-related features. With the "Auto Quick Answer" turned off, you will need to activate it manually, similar to the Summarize or Discuss page features.
