Send a notification when iOS extension has to be re-enabled in Safari

The latest update (6/25/24) broke permissions, requiring the extension to be re-enabled and I didn't notice it for two days. How about sending a notification (best) or at least an email (good) when updates break permissions?

A notification would prevent users from defaulting back to the previous search engine when updates break extension permissions.

moto We do not know what users use the extension and would thus avoid sending an email (which Kagi very rarely does). Instead we published this in the release notes which does produce a notification in your dashboard

Vlad no I didn’t notice it for two days because I don’t habitually check the changelog. I’m not an iOS expert but wouldn’t notifications be sent only to people who’ve downloaded the extension app?
