Use current screen size as a size filer options in image search

This feature aim to add a default short hand for looking up wallpaper, right now we have 6 options in the image size filter: All, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large or a user defined range. What would be nice is 1 more choice like Current Screen or Wallpaper or an other implementation of it maybe a bit more ux focus

Have a extra option kagi.com/images in the filters section in the Size drop down saying something like Wallpaper.
When selected the search would adapt to the current screen size
exemple:
https://kagi.com/images?q=nature&size=wallpaper
Then using this query it can get the values in window.screen.height; and window.screen.width; to get the screen size

The method you suggested is unreliable, and I'm frankly not sure if what you want is actually (technically) possible.

I copied over what you suggested into https://eruda.liriliri.io/ on mobile (android) browser, and my 3200 by 1440 pixels screen is reported as 915 by 412 (probably to make website that use pixels for sizing usable).

I found this SO answer and checked the height: 1239.4951648712158
So even when adjusted for scaling, it's still not the size of a screen (I'd guess that's size of the window/tab)

KamilKurde I just tried this myself, using Firefox for Android and I got the exact screen width and height values that I have.

My phone (Google Pixel 8 Pro) has a pixel width of 1344 but per default it uses a lower resolution of 1008 (saves energy and I don't notice the difference), and if I would round the result of the calculation down to an integer I also get the 1008 pixels.

Value7609 you got some special standard-breaking version of Firefox?
I downloaded Firefox just to test what you said

And as you can see, it too gives incorrect sizes (480 by 1067 instead of 1440 by 3200)

Just tested this (window.screen.width * window.devicePixelRatio) and it does seem to be returning correct value in Firefox.
I also checked chrome (because I thought the browser I'm using is working incorrectly), and it too returns incorrect value

So this method is not reliable, and won't work correctly for most users
