Bump government sites in rank?

Steps to reproduce:
I tried to apply for mail voting but the official government site to do so was actually the 3rd result or something (instead of the 1st place I expected it to be). Maybe if you search something related to that give those official sites a boost? Query was “ nrw landtagswahl briefwahl duesseldorf”

Expected behavior:
It should be ranked 1st

Kai Note that some users want to get away from government information as much as possible and would call us 'biased' if we did that. we have no bias, users usually do. so if you want gov results further up, simply give them a boost.

This feels like a suggestion but at the same time can be considered a bug. I fully support this though.

.edu domains as well. They create high quality information yet very few of them do SEO optimization which means they tend to almost always rank lower in search results then trashy content farm websites even though their quality for the same information is better.

Is there a way to do wildcards?

Like I want to boost “*.gov”. Rather than individually boost medlineplus.gov, travel.state.gov, etc

danny You can create a lens that contains a wildcard *.gov then use it aytime you are interested in searching gov sites exclusively.

Vlad Right now the placeholder text is "site1, site2, site3", which doesn't provide much information. Maybe use actual patterns people can use like "example.com, *.substack.com, *.blogspot.com"
