Currently, searching on Kagi allows about two pages of result (usually 40-50 results in total), which (without any scientific evidence) I would say is rather sufficient for most people's needs. However, certain types of research and information gathering (mine being geopolitics) require perusing and sifting through a lot more results than Kagi currently provides. Also, I'm not sure if this is related, but perhaps the smaller number of search results is affecting the quality of search queries, by leaving less room for the content the user is looking for. To give an example, I recently read an article on my phone about Macron's efforts wrt Ukraine, however it somehow wasn't stored in my phone browser history. After unsuccessfully trying to find it again by searching for quotes within the article, I tried a different query and found it on Google, but no luck on Kagi:
As a solution, I propose that the number of search results be expanded, either for free (within reasons), or as a part of an paid addon package, which I personally won't mind paying for.
This benefits: Any user who wants to view as wide a variety of information, opinions and viewpoints as possible on a topic can benefit from a large number of search results. It would also get Kagi UX closer to parity with other search engines, as none of them (afaik) put a cap on results, but of course I understand how Kagi differs in key aspects regarding this.
